Editions Grenier

Project Overview
A bilingual (French) publishing website providing access to publications—poetry, essays, novels—alongside sections for authors, news, and contact, structured to facilitate exploration and discovery of literature.
Objectives
Provide a structured, literature-first experience showcasing editorial content and author stories. Enable easy navigation through a growing catalog of written works. Offer seamless user pathways for further reading and exploration of authors and news.
Our Solution
Designed an intuitive menu-driven layout organizing content into publications, author bios, background, and news. Implemented excerpts with clear calls-to-action ("Lire plus") to drive deeper site engagement. Consistently placed contact and access elements throughout the site for quick information and outreach.
Our Approach
Likely built using a CMS framework (e.g., WordPress) enabling dynamic content updates for publications and authors. The design prioritizes modular content layout and readability. Structured taxonomy and internal linking to guide users across publications, author details, and news. Ensured multilingual support and intuitive navigation with consistent design elements.
Challenges & Solutions
Displaying a large volume of literary content in an accessible and visually organized manner. Encouraging user engagement while keeping the interface clean and distraction-free. Maintaining consistent navigation across multiple content categories and pages. Deployed clear section categorization ("Publications," "Auteurs," "Actualité," etc.) for intuitive browsing. Utilized excerpt snippets with action prompts to maintain a balance between overview and depth. Integrated clean, minimal layouts with straightforward navigation to support content discovery without clutter.
Outcomes
Visitors can easily discover literature content, scroll through publications, and navigate to individual author pages. Clear "Lire plus" prompts enhance content engagement and time-on-page. The site supports both casual exploration and deeper literary discovery through structured information flow.
